DHL Express, a global leader in logistics, is seeking a Senior Clearance Manager to oversee customs clearance operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and related agencies while driving efficiency for our widespread client network.

You will lead and develop a team of clearance staff, monitor performance against key metrics, implement process improvements, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex regulatory issues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA and 3-5 years of experience in Customs Clearance/International Trade in a supervisory or management role
• Demonstrated success in leading, supervising, managing, motivating and developing staff
• Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple tasks and set priorities
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds
• General Knowledge in U.S. Customs and International trade with understanding of valuation, classification, compliance/audit and trade programs
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from management, employees and customers
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point
