Qualifikationen

• BS/BA degree and 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with tariffs, price conversions, weight and volume checks for shipments.
• Professional certification may be required in some areas and candidates must meet security requirements (SIDA badge).

Aufgaben

• Manages and coordinates customs clearance activities in the customs house brokerage or gateway environment.
• Ensures compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products.
• Establishes and revises policies, procedures and service standards for customs clearance operations.
• Ensures policies are consistently administered and targets for KPIs are met.
• Supervises a staff of approximately 30 with two direct reports; hires, coaches, trains and develops staff.
• Assigns work, sets completion dates, reviews performance and enforces policies.
