Job summary

CRC Group is seeking a Claims Senior Supervisor to oversee a US-based claims team, ensuring adherence to guidelines, regulations, and service standards. The role focuses on Construction Defect claims, providing technical expertise and staff development to drive efficient resolutions and high customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in claims with supervisory experience, strong leadership, and a track record of managing complex claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of claims handling experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Proven track record managing complex and high-severity claims across multiple lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of claims adjusters and specialists, ensuring performance objectives and quality standards are met.
• Review and approve coverage analysis on claims within delegated authority and escalation as necessary.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to enhance proficiency and support career development.
• Monitor workflow, allocate resources, and resolve escalated issues to maintain service-level agreements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, industry regulations, and internal policies for all claims activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify process improvements and implement best practices for claims handling.
• Analyze claims data to identify trends, manage risk exposure, and recommend strategic initiatives.
• Conduct performance evaluations and contribute to workforce planning, including hiring, training, and succession management.
