Progressive is seeking a senior claims specialist in Tigard, OR for a hybrid role that blends in-office collaboration with remote work. The position emphasizes investigating complex injury claims, negotiating settlements, and determining coverage and liability in cooperation with police, medical professionals, claimants, and attorneys.

Ideal candidates have extensive claims experience, a track record of successful settlements, and the ability to manage high-risk cases with attention to detail

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling OR
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsabilités

• Investigate high-risk injury claims and cases that may involve attorneys.
• Consult with police, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident.
• Assess coverage, liability and the total value of the claim.
• Collaborate with teammates during meetings, training and reviews in a hybrid setting.
• Support and mentor junior team members as needed.
