Progressive is seeking a senior claims specialist in a hybrid role based in Oregon. You will investigate complex injury claims, consult with police, medical professionals, claimants, and others, and determine coverage, liability, and the total value of the claim.

Ideal candidates have substantial claims handling experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to navigate discovery tools. The role includes a gainshare incentive and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling.
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree.
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims.
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident.
• Determine coverage, liability and the total value of the claim.
• Support hybrid work model with meetings, training, and collaboration.
