Job summary

Progressive is seeking a senior claims specialist to help resolve injury claims with careful analysis of coverage and liability. This hybrid role requires collaboration with law enforcement, medical professionals and claimants, and offers coaching from a supportive team.

You will report to an office about four days per month for meetings and training, with the option to work in-office more often if you prefer. This position is based in California across multiple city offices.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims and determine coverage and liability
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident
• Report to an office about four days per month for meetings, training and collaboration; option to work in-office more often
