Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• CPCU/SCLA/AIC designations and management-related coursework preferred.
• 8+ years in Claims with prior experience leading leaders required.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills required.
• Advanced knowledge of policy application in claims required.
• Advanced leadership/management skills required.
• Advanced organizational skills and ability to prioritize required.
• Knowledge of cost-benefit modeling and financial reporting processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy, initiatives, and processes to meet organizational goals and improve claims performance.
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance across the unit and drive corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor claims managers and staff; manage unit budget and costs.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with other units and executive staff.
• Oversee staff development, staffing, and succession planning.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and cost-benefit analyses.
