Job summary

TransEleven Claims Managers (TCM) seeks a Senior Claims Counsel to oversee claims administration and litigation management for a busy portfolio. The position begins at our corporate offices in Allen, TX for training, then transitions to 100% remote work with eligibility for SD residents.

Experience in professional/general liability and insurance defense is preferred. Candidates should have 4–7 years of attorney experience, a JD from an accredited law school, and active state bar admission.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience as an attorney in insurance litigation or related areas.
• JD from an accredited law school; licensed in good standing in at least one state.
• Experience with claims/file management software and billing.
• Strong writing and communication skills; ability to handle high-volume litigation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee claims administration and litigation management for a portfolio.
• Retain and manage outside counsel, negotiations, mediations, and settlements.
• Provide complex reporting to all parties and manage expenses.
