Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy seeks a Civil General Superintendent (Renewables EPC) to lead safety culture, standardize methods, and mentor site teams across utility-scale solar projects in Texas. The role oversees planning, startup, construction, and closeout, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to design specifications.

The position is remote-based with weekly travel to project sites; 75% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of civil construction leadership experience in an EPC environment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Ability to supervise many employees.
• Solid understanding of job costing and reading prints.

Responsibilities

• Establish a safety culture on each project and ensure adherence to safety programs.
• Ensure Superintendents adhere to design, construction specs, and methods for quality delivery.
• Develop and implement Solar Best Methods during planning and construction.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Foremen, and project team to refine crews and methods and provide feedback.
• Coach and mentor project supervision to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Set equipment, labor, and material plans during pre-construction and refer to estimates.
• Develop and update standardized Work Plans and Work Methods with the Chief Estimator.
• Support Site/Construction Manager on each project.
• Travel to project locations up to 75% or more.
