Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy seeks a Mechanical Superintendent to provide input and technical expertise for mechanical construction on utility-scale solar EPC projects. On-site supervision of Field Engineers and Foremen ensures a safe, productive, and quality job while controlling costs.

The role will schedule labor, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontractors, work with the Site Manager to staff projects, and mentor Field Coordinators and Foremen on scope, costs, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising mechanical construction on solar EPC projects.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• Ability to supervise many employees.
• Knowledge of job costing and relevant codes.
• Ability to read prints and contract documents.
• Relocation to project site is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise General Foremen, Field Engineers and Foremen on site to maximize productivity and control costs.
• Schedule equipment, materials, tools, and subcontractors to optimize resources.
• Collaborate with Site Manager and other superintendents to staff and allocate resources.
• Mentor Field Coordinators and Foremen on scope, costs, quality and safety.
• Ensure safety compliance and enforce site safety regulations.
• Assist in RFI development and liaise with owner on major projects.
