Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy seeks an experienced General Superintendent to lead construction excellence for solar EPC projects. You will mentor Superintendents, Foremen, and field teams while refining standard work plans and delivery methods across engineering, planning, startup, execution, and closeout.

Travel 75%+ and on-site work are required. You will collaborate across groups, support pre-construction planning, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance with contract documents.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in utility-scale solar or similar construction environments.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills across diverse field teams.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Solid grasp of job costing and project planning.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel 75%+ and work on-site weekly.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Lead Construction Excellence: champion safe, efficient, high-quality construction methods across all phases.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and coach for Superintendents, Foremen, and field teams.
• Develop and refine standardized work plans and best practices for solar EPC delivery.
• Train & mentor field teams: work with site leadership to ensure consistent execution and development.
• Support pre-construction planning for labor, equipment, and materials; ensure safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate across teams: align with Estimating, Business Development, and Site Managers; drive continuous improvement.
• Support site staffing, licensing, and public engagement as needed.
• Strong reading of drawings and specs; ensure adherence to design docs.
