Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a leader and SME to standardize construction methods for utility-scale solar projects. This remote-based role requires traveling weekly to project sites and mentoring Superintendents and crews to ensure safety, quality, and efficient delivery.

The candidate will develop Work Plans, coordinate with Estimating, and support pre-construction to optimize equipment and labor. Strong communication and codes knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable MVR.
• Ability to supervise many employees.
• Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment uses and limitations.
• Good communication skills to deal with owners and employees.
• Solid understanding of job costing.
• May need to become qualified for a company contract licensing.
• Ability to read and understand prints and contract documents.
• Knows federal and state codes for the project.
• Extensive travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture on each project and ensure onsite adherence.
• Supervise Superintendents to follow design and methods for quality.
• Support and establish Solar Best Methods during planning and construction.
• Coach and develop Superintendents, Foremen and crews for consistency.
• Develop equipment, labor and material plans during pre-construction.
• Create standardized Work Plans and Work Methods with Estimators.
• Support Site/Construction Manager to ensure adequate skill sets.
• Occasionally visit proposed project sites to assist Estimating/BD.
• Perform additional assignments as directed.
