Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy seeks a leader to train and supervise construction systems, processes and methods for the solar EPC business. You will guide planning, start-up, construction and closeout of utility-scale projects, driving safe, high-quality and efficient delivery while mentoring field teams.

This remote-based role requires travel to project sites weekly, strong knowledge of codes, job costing, and the ability to develop standardized work plans alongside the estimating team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver license with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to supervise many employees.
• Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment uses and limitations.
• Good communication skills to deal with owners and employees.
• Possess a solid understanding of job costing.
• May be required to become a qualified individual for contracting licensing.
• Ability to read and understand prints and contract documents.
• Knows and understands the required federal and state codes for the project.
• Extensive travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish safety culture on each project within production functions.
• Validate safety program adherence onsite and provide additional training when needed.
• Ensure Superintendents adhere to design, construction methods to deliver quality.
• Support and establish Solar Best Methods during planning and construction.
• Refine crews and methods with Sups and project team; solicit feedback for updates.
• Coach and develop Superintendents and Foremen for consistency and efficiency.
• Develop equipment, labor, and material plans with Supt during pre-construction.
• Refer back to estimates during development.
• Develop and update standardized Work Plans and Work Methods for estimating and execution.
• Coordinate with Chief Estimator to align estimators and Superintendents.
• Support Site/Construction Manager to ensure skilled project teams.
• May visit proposed sites to support Estimating and Business Development.
