Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy in the United States seeks a Civil General Superintendent to lead construction systems, safety culture, and standardized methods across EPC solar projects. You will mentor Superintendents, foremen, and project teams, ensuring adherence to design and high-quality execution while enabling growth and efficiency on site.

The role is remote-based with weekly travel to project locations, requiring 10+ years of civil leadership in EPC environments, strong ability to read

Qualifications

• 10+ years of civil construction leadership experience in an EPC environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable MVR.
• Ability to supervise many employees.
• Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment uses and limitations.
• Good communication skills to deal with owners and employees.
• Possess a solid understanding of job costing.
• May be required to become a qualified individual in pursuit of a company contract licensing.
• Ability to read and understand prints and contract documents.
• Knows and understands the required federal and state codes for the project.
• 75% or more travel required to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and uphold a safety culture on each project within production functions.
• Validate the safety program is followed on site and provide additional training if needed.
• Ensure Superintendents adhere to design, construction species, and methods for quality delivery.
• Support and establish Solar Best Methods during planning and construction stages.
• Collaborate with Superintendents to refine crews and methods and solicit feedback for updates.
• Coach and develop Supervisors, Foremen, and project teams for consistency and efficiency.
• Develop equipment, labor, and material plans during pre-construction with Supt input.
• Refer back to estimates during development.
• Develop and update standardized Work Plans and Work Methods for estimating and execution.
• Coordinate with the Chief Estimator to maintain relationships among estimators and superintendents.
• Support Site/Construction Manager on projects to ensure appropriate skillsets.
• May visit proposed project sites to support Estimating and Business Development.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
