Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy seeks a Mechanical Superintendent to provide input and technical expertise for mechanical and civil construction. You will supervise on-site Field Engineers and General Foremen, ensuring a safe, productive, and quality job while controlling costs for the project site.

Responsibilities include scheduling labor, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontractors; aligning with specifications and contract requirements; and mentoring site personnel to uphold safety and quality

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience including field installation and rigging.
• Ability to supervise multiple crews and coordinate with Field Engineers and Foremen.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, specs, and contract documents.
• Strong safety leadership and knowledge of regulations and site safety practices.
• Solid understanding of job costing and resource utilization.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs on-site General Foremen, Field Engineers and Foremen to optimize resources and adherence to policies and regulations.
• Schedules equipment, materials, tools, and subcontractors to maximize production and minimize costs.
• Trains and implements standardized Work Plans and Work Methods; supports process improvements.
• Ensures safe working conditions and enforces safety regulations on site, including risk assessments and JHA processes.
• Communicates with Site Manager on project status, problem areas, and staffing needs; collaborates with stakeholders to staff trades.
