Envista Forensics is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to analyze failures and lead field investigations across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. This role blends fieldwork with office design work, requiring a curious mind and strong communication skills.

A BS in Civil/Structural Engineering and a PE license are required, with 5–7+ years of relevant experience and 25-30% travel. The ideal candidate will contribute to failure analysis, prepare comprehensive reports,

Qualifications

BS in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
Active PE license preferred in state of employment.
5–7+ years' design experience in residential, commercial, industrial settings.
Experience with commercial and industrial facilities.
Excellent written and oral communication; customer service skills.

Responsabilités

Investigate origin and cause of failures in civil/structural projects.
Analyze failures, evaluate construction quality, and review design/maintenance procedures.
Lead field investigations and multi-party documentation of damaged property.
Prepare clear, concise reports of damages and recommended remedies.
Provide expert testimony when required.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and maintain client relationships.
