Job summary

A BS in Civil/Structural Engineering is required; PE is preferred (EIT considered). Candidates should have 5–7 years of design experience across residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Travel 25–30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering is required.
• PE license preferred; EIT may be considered.
• 5-7 years' experience in design across residential, commercial and industrial settings.
• Field work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate origin and cause of failures in civil/structural projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Analyze failure of building systems, determine cause, and evaluate construction quality.
• Perform field investigations and lead multi-party examinations with documentation of damaged property.
• Research failure modes and applicable codes; prepare repair/remediation recommendations.
• Prepare reports detailing origin and cause of damages for clients.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams on large, complex assignments.
