Job summary

Envista Forensics is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer with a strong background in structural/design and failure analysis. The role blends field and office work and requires active PE licensure in the state of employment.

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Active PE license in the state of employment preferred.
5 to 7+ years’ experience in design across residential, commercial and industrial settings.
Experience with commercial and industrial facilities is desired.
Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM.

Responsibilities

Investigates the origin and cause of failures in civil/structural projects across residential, commercial and industrial sites.
Analyzes failure modes and reviews construction or maintenance procedures.
Participates in catastrophe responses and field investigations.
Prepares clear reports outlining cause and origin of damages.
Manages multi-disciplinary teams on large assignments.
