Job summary

Envista Forensics is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer with a strong background in structural design, failure analysis, and field work. The ideal candidate will perform investigations of failures across residential, commercial, and industrial sites, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver clear reports outlining causes and remediation recommendations.

Active PE is required with 5–7+ years of design experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering is required.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
5 to 7+ years of design experience in residential/commercial/industrial settings preferred.
Experience with commercial and industrial facilities is desired.
Excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills.
MS Excel and CRM experience.

Responsibilities

Investigate origin and cause of failures in civil/structural projects.
Analyze building system failures and review design or maintenance procedures.
Lead field investigations and multi-party examinations with clients.
Prepare clear reports of damage origin and provide repair recommendations.
Provide expert testimony when required and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
Develop trusted client relationships and communicate findings effectively.
