Job summary

Envista Forensics is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer with a PE license and 5–7+ years of design experience. The role combines field and office work across residential, commercial, and industrial settings, with travel and active client interaction.

The ideal candidate will analyze failure causes, review construction quality, and prepare detailed reports for clients while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and providing expert testimony if required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• Active PE license required (in the state of employment preferred).
• 5 to 7+ years’ experience in design across residential, commercial and industrial settings preferred.
• Experience with commercial and industrial facilities desired.
• Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Suite and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Investigates origin and cause of failures in civil/structural projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Analyzes failures, evaluates construction quality, and reviews design or maintenance procedures.
• Leads field investigations and coordinates multi-disciplinary teams on large assignments.
• Prepares clear reports outlining damages, causes, and recommended remediation.
