Job summary

Envista Forensics is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer ( Memphis area ) to join our forensic team. This role combines field investigations with office analysis, approximately 40% field time and 60% desk work, supporting projects across residential, commercial and industrial sites.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, with PE preferred and EIT considered. 5–7 years of design experience and field work are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• PE preferred; EIT may be considered.
• 5–7 years’ design experience in residential, commercial or industrial settings.
• Field experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate origin and cause of failures in civil/structural projects.
• Analyze failure of building systems and review design or maintenance procedures.
• Perform field investigations and document damaged property with multi-party teams.
• Prepare reports outlining origin and cause of damages for clients.
