Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead site civil design projects across Federal, Water/Wastewater, Municipal and Industrial markets. You will coordinate with a multidiscipline team from planning to construction, developing drawings, specs, and calculations while reviewing shop drawings.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years' design experience, PE license, and strong leadership to deliver high-quality civil site designs in a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years design experience managing civil/site projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by licensing board.
• Experience in project engineering and project management.
• Active participant in an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead site civil design projects for multiple markets (Federal, Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design team through lifecycle of projects.
• Develop construction drawings, specifications and engineering calculations; review shop drawings.
• Lead a team of engineers and CAD professionals.
• Deliver high-quality, technically sound civil site designs.
