Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services group in Arlington, Virginia. You will lead site civil design projects for Federal, Water/Wastewater, Municipal and Industrial sectors, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team through planning, development of construction documents, and construction administration.

You will develop drawings, specifications, and calculations, and review shop drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 10 years design experience managing civil/site design projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by the licensing board.
• Project engineering and project management experience.
• Commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead site civil design projects across multiple markets and lifecycle stages.
• Coordinate with a multidiscipline design team from planning through construction.
• Develop construction drawings, specifications, and supporting calculations; review shop drawings.
• Lead a team of engineers and CAD professionals to deliver high-quality designs.
