HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (Buildings) to lead civil/site design for diverse projects and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll design site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and related civil work while ensuring compliance and technical excellence.

We expect 10+ years of design experience, an active PE license, and strong project management capabilities. The role emphasizes leadership in an employee-owned culture and impactful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years design experience managing civil/site design projects.
• Professional Engineer license recognized by local board (PE or P.Eng).
• Experience in project engineering and project management.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture and collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Design and plan production for a wide variety of civil/site projects.
• Conduct quantity calculations.
• Prepare specifications and contract documents.
• Conduct permitting.
• Take on complex engineering tasks with judgment and innovation.
• Serve as technical expert in area of specialization.
• Plan and develop projects with significant impact on company programs.
• Supervise a medium to large staff of professionals and technicians.
• Potentially act as Project Manager on larger projects.
