Job summary

HDR is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to contribute to civil scope, budgets, and design across diverse projects. You will serve as Engineer of Record on non-complex work, coordinate with teams, and develop compliant site layouts for jurisdictional reviews.

The role requires a PE license, strong leadership, and proficiency with CAD tools such as Bentley OpenRoads Designer and Autodesk Civil 3D. HDR values collaboration and career growth within an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the position location.
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of civil engineering scope of work and budgets for proposals.
Serve as the Engineer of Record on non-complex projects.
Coordinate with internal and external resources to complete due diligence research and documentation.
Develop concept site layouts compliant with Jurisdictional requirements.
Attend and contribute to client meetings.
Design and plan production for general civil on a wide variety of projects through schematic and construction design processes.
