Job summary

Thomas & Hutton is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead large-scale, multi-phase site development projects across the Southeast. You will work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, on-time solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree, 6+ years of design experience, and strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D. PE licensure is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of civil engineering design experience.
• Experience producing site design plans for large, multi-phase projects.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale civil site development projects for mission-critical clients.
• Prepare and oversee site grading, water, sewer, and storm drainage drawings.
• Lead project teams to meet scope, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Provide technical guidance and project updates in client meetings.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to support design development.
• Monitor scope, schedule, and budget to ensure project success.
• Support proposal development and project planning efforts.
