Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead site development work for data center and large industrial programs. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with AHJs, and ensure quality from planning to delivery across multiple U.S.

geographies including PA, WA, TX, and LA. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and ~10+ years of experience, with strong leadership, project management, and regulatory navigation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution; ~10+ years of civil/site engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license strongly preferred, with ability to obtain licensure by comity in target states.
• Extensive experience with land development and site civil design for large sites including industrial or mission-critical projects.
• Proven experience with AHJs, permitting processes, and local approval
• Experience with project management, scope/fee development, budgets, and client coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development services for data center, mission-critical, and large industrial projects from site selection through permitting, design, and construction support.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, staffing, client communications, proposals, and subconsultants across multiple concurrent assignments.
• Direct technical work: site layout, grading, stormwater, utilities, roads, erosion/sediment control, and permitting.
• Serve as liaison with AHJs and agencies, interpret codes, coordinate inputs from survey, geotech, environmental, wetlands, traffic, power, water, wastewater, architecture, and construction teams.
• Review and approve memoranda, calculations, plans, and deliverables; mentor engineers and CAD staff and support business growth in target markets.
