Job summary

Ramboll in the Americas is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead site development for data center and large industrial projects. You will coordinate with AHJs, manage cross-disciplinary teams, and ensure delivery from permitting through construction.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s in civil engineering, about 10+ years of experience, and strong client coordination. Hybrid work is available across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of civil/site engineering experience with project delivery.
• Professional Engineer license preferred; licensure by comity in target states.
• Substantial land development and site civil design experience for large/multi-disciplinary sites.
• Experience with AHJs, permitting processes, and local approvals; knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and MS4/site permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development services for data center, mission-critical, and large industrial projects from site selection to construction support.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, staffing, client communications, and subconsultants across concurrent assignments.
• Direct technical work including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and site permitting.
• Serve as primary liaison with AHJs and agencies, coordinating inputs from survey, geotechnical, environmental, wetlands, traffic, power, water, and construction teams.
• Review/approve technical deliverables and mentor engineers and CAD staff.
