Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer – Data Centers to join our Civil Engineering and Design team within Environment & Health. The role supports data center and large industrial developments through due diligence, master planning, and permitting.

You will lead site feasibility, grading, utilities, and coordination with AHJs, mentoring staff, and driving project success in a collaborative, flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering with 5+ years of civil/site experience.
• PE license strongly preferred, with ability to obtain licensure by comity in target states.
• Extensive land development and site civil design experience for large projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development for data centers and large industrial projects from selection to construction.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, and client communication across multiple projects.
• Direct technical work including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting.
