Job summary

Ramboll Group in the United States is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead site development for data center and large industrial programs. You will work across disciplines, manage permitting, and coordinate with AHJs to ensure successful project delivery.

This hybrid role requires a Civil Engineering background with 10+ years of experience, and a PE license or licensure by comity. Join Ramboll’s Environment & Health Division to advance sustainable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer license strongly preferred, with ability to obtain licensure by comity in target states.
• Substantial experience with land development and site civil design for large, complex sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development services for data center, mission-critical, and large industrial projects from site selection through design and construction support.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, staffing, client communications, proposals, and subconsultants across multiple assignments.
• Direct technical work involving site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, access roads, and site permitting.
• Serve as primary liaison with AHJs and agencies, interpret local codes, and coordinate inputs from survey, geotech, environmental, and other teams.
• Review and approve technical deliverables; mentor engineers and CAD staff and support client development.
