Job summary

Core States Group in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Senior Civil Project Engineer to lead a design team and manage civil projects from concept to completion.

You will apply expertise in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, SWPPP, and stormwater, coordinating with Architects, MEP, structural engineers, and construction project managers to produce code-compliant construction documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• P.E. in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years of site/civil production, preferably with commercial projects.
• AutoCAD and MS Office required.
• Experience working within Civil3D required.
• Ability to identify practical uses for AI tools to improve team processes.
• Ability to review AI-generated content for accuracy and protect confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Civil Engineering Designers and Civil Project Engineers.
• Engage in client interaction throughout projects.
• Coordinate with sub-consultants.
• Assist in preparing and negotiating contracts and change orders with clients and sub-contractors.
• Design full site plans or with little or no direction.
• Conduct site visits and generate reports and recommendations.
