Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Senior Civil Project Engineer to lead a design team and manage civil projects from concept to completion. You will coordinate with Architects, MEP, and Construction Project Managers and produce civil construction documents in line with codes and client requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a PE in Civil Engineering, a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and 8+ years of site/civil production experience on commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• P.E. license in Civil Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of site/civil production experience, preferably with commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a design team and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with Architects, MEP, Structural Engineers, and Construction Project Managers.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts and change orders with clients and sub-contractors.
• Develop design calculations and reports and manage project budgets and schedules.
• Mentor staff and contribute to multi-disciplinary design development.
