Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Senior Civil Project Engineer to lead a design team from conception to completion. You will oversee site layout, grading, utility design, stormwater management and SWPPP, coordinating with architects and engineers while ensuring code compliance.

You will help prepare contracts, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor staff across multi-disciplinary projects. Hybrid work and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensed in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of site/civil production experience, preferably with commercial projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D and MS Office.
• Experience with Civil3D and use of AI tools for team efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a design team and manage civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with Architects, MEP and Structural Engineers and Construction PMs.
• Prepare design calculations, reports, and construction documents.
• Manage budgets, schedules and change orders with clients and subs.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with authorities through all project phases.
