Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to support a busy civil litigation practice in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on managing complex casework, drafting and editing documents, and supporting attorneys through all litigation phases.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in civil litigation, strong writing and client communication skills, and proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and MS Office. Schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional remote work after conversion.

Qualifications

• 10+ years supporting civil litigation matters.
• Demonstrated background handling complex litigation cases.
• Familiarity with Arizona Superior Court and U.S. District Court procedures.
• Strong legal writing and document preparation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and legal teams.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and Excel.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, and file a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
• Coordinate and manage discovery, including document collection, organization, and response preparation.
• Maintain and track case files, ensuring deadlines and court requirements are met.
• Conduct legal research to support case development and strategy.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and provide case updates as needed.
• Support settlement efforts, including mediation preparation and documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable legal standards and court procedures.
