WSP USA’s Facilities Division seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support projects across Boise, ID; Madison, WI; Austin, TX; Houston, TX; Overland Park, KS, and other locations, with remote option for the right candidate.

You will lead mechanical design and construction for building and infrastructure projects, mentor staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and utility piping design.
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• Knowledge of mechanical systems such as hydronics, steam, refrigeration, and gas.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, CAM, and related design software.
• Experience with project management and construction oversight.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, regulators, and subcontractors.
• Commitment to QA/QC and safety standards.

• Apply advanced mechanical engineering methods to complex projects.
• Perform detailed investigations of site conditions and conformance with codes.
• Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

• Assist with permit reviews and compliance documentation.
• Mentor staff and advance professional development.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary professionals on federal, state, and local projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry practices and standards.
