GEI Consultants, Inc. in Bakersfield is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a background in civil, agricultural, or water resources engineering to lead field and design efforts related to water resource and water conveyance facilities, preparing construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.

The position includes supervising engineers and technicians, developing quality scope and budgets, participating in meetings, and contributing to business development and office growth.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in California.
• 15-25 years of experience in pipeline and/or general civil design.
• Familiarity with detailed design and specification preparation.
• Experience managing PEs and EITs with multiple project deadlines.
• Excellent technical report writing and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate to provide oversight and design expertise for pipeline design and water conveyance projects.
• Oversee the development of quality scope, fee, reports, plans, specifications and estimates for multiple projects.
• Supervise engineers and technicians.
• Review and evaluate design and construction practices.
• Attend and lead project meetings and work in a team environment or independently.
• Identify needs and support meetings with internal staff and external clients.
• Participate in and lead business development activities and contribute to office growth.
