GEI Consultants, Inc. is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer in Northern California to lead water resource projects, including dams, levees, and hydraulic structures. The role involves design, construction management, and BD activities across the US, with oversight of engineers and technicians.

You will manage complex tasks, prepare technical documentation, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. Hybrid work and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer in California (PE).
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with detailed design and specification preparation.
• Experience managing PEs and EITs with multiple deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead, oversee, and support projects on water resource facilities and hydraulic structures.
• Develop and manage quality, scope, and fees for deliverables.
• Supervise design technicians and technical staff.
• Lead teams for modeling, take-offs, analysis, and design calculations.
• Prepare memos, reports, specs, and written documentation.
• Review and evaluate design and construction practices.
• Lead project meetings, work in teams or independently.
• Support internal and external client meetings.
• Participate in and lead business development activities.
