Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for our Power team. This remote role can be performed from anywhere in the United States and requires extensive civil engineering experience within power-related projects.

The candidate will lead design efforts, coordinate with project teams, and ensure compliance with US standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a salary range of $140,000 to $190,000, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of civil engineering experience, asset in transmission lines, high voltage substations, industrial, power generation, hydro, or utilities.
• Industrial design experience including site development, grading and drainage, utilities/tie-ins, erosion control, road design.
• Working knowledge of USA civil design standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and authenticate designs for site prep, storm water management, grading, access roads, and fencing for power projects.
• Coordinate with discipline leads, project managers and clients to facilitate design and provide clarifications during construction.
• Provide technical leadership to the Civil team on projects and participate in design reviews.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets and report status regularly.
• Attend project meetings as required.
