Zusammenfassung

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior/Lead Structural Engineer to join our Power team. This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities include leading engineers, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring design drawings and calculations meet project needs. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in structural engineering (steel and foundations), a CA PE license, and extensive experience with high-voltage substations and transmission lines.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience, steel and foundation design for high voltage substations, transmission lines, and industrial projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and PE license (CA) required.
• Experience with transmission station structures and overhead lines ≥115 kV.
• Experience with heavy industrial structures; consulting background desirable.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and structural analysis software (STAAD, SFrame, RISA).

Aufgaben

• Supervise groups of engineers and professionals in the Power sector on large and small projects.
• Coordinate with discipline leads, PMs, vendors, and clients for design and construction support.
• Maintain project timelines and budgets, and document tasks and design deliverables.
• Prepare and verify design drawings, calculations, and procurement content.
• Review supplier bids and technical submissions; issue purchase requisitions.
• Monitor schedules and provide regular status reports.
