Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for the High-Performance Building Group to support facilities and infrastructure across the United States. The role emphasizes leading complex projects in site design, stormwater, roadway, sanitary sewer, and water distribution, with a strong focus on client relationships and delivery.

The position allows fully remote, hybrid, or in-office work arrangements, with travel as needed and a PE licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
• 10+ years of experience in stormwater, land development, sanitary sewer and water distribution projects.
• Experience leading proposals and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects from planning through construction.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets and scopes.
• Lead proposals and support business development initiatives.
• Serve as technical liaison for clients, coordinating meetings and site evaluations.
• Mentor and supervise staff to ensure quality across projects.
• Travel throughout the United States for project meetings and site visits.
