Job summary
Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our High-Performance Building Group. This position supports federal, commercial, data center, and microgrid projects across the United States and can be performed remotely or in a hybrid setup.
Ideal candidates bring strong expertise in site design, stormwater management, roadway design, sanitary sewer, and water distribution, plus a proven track record leading complex projects from planning through final delivery. PE licensure is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
- 10+ years of experience in stormwater design, land development projects, sanitary sewer distribution, water distribution, water tower design, and pump station design.
- Proven track record in proposal leadership and project delivery.
- Must be a US citizen and able to travel to client offices and project sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead civil engineering projects from planning through construction inspections.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scopes.
- Lead proposal development efforts and support business development.
- Serve as a technical liaison with clients and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Mentor and supervise staff to support team development and project success.
- Travel throughout the United States for meetings and site visits.
