Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC seeks a Sr Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead growth and delivery of the infrastructure practice in Oregon and SW Washington. Based in Portland or Vancouver, WA, you will manage complex projects, develop client relationships, and mentor teams to win and execute major infrastructure work.

The ideal candidate has a PE license in OR/WA or ability to obtain within six months, 12+ years of experience, and a track record of leading multi-disciplinary design from pursuit through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in OR and WA or ability to obtain within six months.
• 12+ years of progressive infrastructure engineering, project management, and team leadership.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary infrastructure design from pursuit through construction.
• Strong client relationship management and business development experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with OpenRoads/OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and cultivate client relationships across Oregon and SW Washington.
• Lead pursuits, proposals, interviews, and growth objectives.
• Oversee portfolio of projects with multi-disciplinary infrastructure work.
• Mentor engineers and project managers; develop staffing strategies.
• Represent Apex in meetings, industry groups, and community events.
