Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Sr Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead our infrastructure practice across Oregon and SW Washington. Based in Portland or Vancouver, WA, you will develop client relationships, lead high-performing teams, and oversee major projects with strong regional impact.

You will drive business development, mentor staff, and collaborate with leadership to expand our west region. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and client service across federal, state, and private sector

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license in Oregon and Washington or ability to obtain within six months.
• 12+ years of infrastructure engineering, PM, and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Support business development throughout Oregon and SW Washington, growing client relationships.
• Lead pursuits, prepare proposals, and contribute to growth objectives.
• Provide leadership for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects and ensure successful delivery.
• Mentor and develop engineers and project managers.
• Coordinate with regional leadership on staffing and operations.
• Represent Apex in client meetings and industry events.
