Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for land development projects in the Boise area. The role involves independent work and collaboration with Senior Engineers on diverse assignments, including hydrology and hydraulic modeling, and preparing construction documents.

The successful candidate will lead design tasks, coordinate with clients and contractors, and contribute to project scope, budget, and scheduling under the guidance of a Senior Engineer/PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development.
• Experience directing junior staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise civil design documents (grading, drainage, utilities, streets).
• Develop 3D models and provide markups for juniors.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
• Estimate quantities and assist with cost analysis.
