Job summary

Stantec in Boise, ID is seeking an experienced civil engineer to lead our local water and wastewater projects. You will oversee project delivery, ensure high-quality design, and drive problem-solving with a client-focused approach.

You will mentor staff, manage design documentation, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams on stormwater, potable water, irrigation, and sanitary sewer systems across Idaho and the Mountain West.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; advanced degree desirable.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in civil or land development design.

Responsibilities

• Lead our local civil team and mentor junior staff.
• Develop civil design documentation, plans, specs, and reports.
• Prepare documentation for stormwater permitting and reviews.
• Coordinate with project teams and external consultants.
• Perform calculations and evaluations for civil systems using standard software.
