Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our land development team in the Portland/Seattle area. You will perform engineering analysis, prepare design documents, and collaborate with senior staff on project scope and schedules.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in civil engineering, a PE license, and 5+ years of experience. Strong communication and time-management skills are essential, with local market experience preferred and some travel possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer required or in current pursuit for licensure.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil design documents including grading, drainage and street improvements.
• Develop 3D models and provide markups for junior staff.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams and stakeholders.
• Estimate quantities and assist in cost analysis.
• Support project scope, budget, staffing and scheduling.
