Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Development and technical review of construction drawings, notes, typical details, specifications, material schedules, and quantity takeoffs.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, incl. alignments, profiles, corridors, grading design, earthwork modeling, and basemaps.
• Experience with civil site development for roadways and drainage, land development, dam decommissioning/removal, stream restoration, and/or fish passage engineering.
• Experience leading design development, technical quality, and delivery of engineering projects.
• Able to lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, perform technical quality reviews, and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Professional Engineer (PE)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior staff on all stages of project delivery from conceptual designs to issued for bid drawings.
• Coordinate with scientists, data analysts, engineers, and licensing experts to develop solutions for renewable energy projects.
• Perform site visits, data collection, engineering calculations, and CAD work.
• Apply hydraulic modeling results and prepare specifications, reports, and presentation slides.
• Support construction observation and ensure project scope aligns with budgets and schedules.
