Job summary

Kleinschmidt Group seeks an Entry-Mid level Civil Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team, developing designs and providing construction support for dam removals, embankment repairs, fish passage facilities, and renewable energy projects.

The role offers hybrid work with 2-3 days in the office across multiple U.S. locations, including Strasburg, PA. Requires EIT, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Erosion & sediment control and stormwater management design experience.
• Prior exposure to engineering design/construction support tasks.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Engineer in Training (EIT).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with senior staff on stages of project delivery from conceptual designs to issued for bid construction drawings.
• Collaborate with scientists, data analysts, engineers, and licensing experts to develop solutions for renewables and dam-related projects.
• Perform site visits, data collection, engineering calculations, and CAD/GIS tasks as part of project execution.
