Kleinschmidt Associates seeks a Senior Civil Engineer in the Seattle area to lead design and construction support for dam removals, embankment repairs, fish passage facilities, and related renewable energy projects as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering, PE, and 10+ years of civil engineering experience, with hybrid work flexibility 2–3 days in office, collaboration with scientists and regulators, and mentoring opportunities while managing scope,

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE)
• 10+ years of progressively responsible civil engineering practice.
• Development and technical review of construction drawings, notes, typical details, specifications, material schedules, and quantity takeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentor staff.
• Coordinate design development, technical quality, and delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support dam removals, embankment repairs, fish passage, and stream restoration projects.
