Kleinschmidt Associates has a full-time opening for an Entry-Mid level Civil Engineer to work with a multi-disciplinary team on dam removals, embankment repairs, fish passage facilities, and renewable energy projects across several U.S. offices. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with 2-3 days in the office per week.

Salary ranges from $68,000 to $125,000 per year and is based on experience. Travel is required as projects span multiple sites, with opportunities to grow within a user-owned

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Erosion and sediment control and stormwater management design experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior staff on all stages of project delivery from concept to construction drawings.
• Collaborate with scientists, data analysts, engineers, and licensing experts.
• Develop designs for dam removals, embankment dam repairs, and stream restoration projects.
• Support field data collection, calculations, CAD work, GIS analysis, and reporting.
